How does Health Connect scale syncing work?
Prime Adapt’s Android Health Connect scale sync explained: optional, read-only imports for weight and body composition from connected apps.
Short answer
A compatible scale app writes readings to Android Health Connect, and Prime Adapt can read the types you select. The current sync is read-only and imports up to the last 30 days into Body measurements; it never writes back to Health Connect.
Check the source app first
Your scale or health app must be connected to Health Connect before Prime Adapt can see a reading. If there is no data, check the source app’s connection and sync status.
Choose permissions deliberately
Prime Adapt requests only the selected Health Connect types, such as weight, body fat, lean mass, bone mass and body water. You can revoke access in Health Connect settings.
Review imported readings
Imported values are labelled with their Health Connect source in Body measurements. Prime Adapt does not add workouts automatically or turn a scale reading into medical advice.
